1. We are owned and run by skaters!

Ain't no-one as passionate and caring about skating as we are! We have been deep in the skate community for over 17 years as skaters and are widely respected in our skate circle. So we absolutely have a vested interest in giving you an excellent experience as well as excellent skates! This also means we know lots of stuff about rollerskates too. We have a HUGE amount of accumulated knowledge - we're basically walking encyclopedias!

2. We have a physical store as well as online

You can try on boots and skates as well as look at products in person AND speak to a real live human. Our specialty is our skate fitting service where we spend a whole heap of time with you getting the right fit. In fact sometimes customers spend upwards of 3 hours choosing their dream skates!

3. Our stock

We are like an Aladdin's Cave of rollerskates! We have full fitting stock of most of our major brands and unique access to many more products that we can custom order in for you. We often operate as a J.I.T (Just In Time) business which means we keep small amounts of stock in the shop and re-order in often. This means we can constantly update our products, getting in the latest things for you and we're not sitting on huge amounts of old products. If you don't see something on our site but know it exists....contact us and we very well might get it in for you! All our online orders are fulfiled from the stock we have at our physical premises, so we always know what's available. In order to be able to carry as many items as possible and give you the most amount of stuff to choose from, some things we order especially in for you at the point of purchase.

4. Our Distance Fitting Service

Created in 2019, we realised we had many UK customers who simply couldn't get in to see us. So we started this service where we can send multiple sizes of skate boots to you to try on at home, then once you've decided we mount them up and you got yourself a new pair o' rollerskates. This has been super successful in getting the right fitting boots for our customers across the country.

5. Postage tracking, Easy Returns and Exchanges

We send all our items tracked and our system sends you an email with the tracking number so you know exactly when to expect your order. We have a returns and exchanges portal accessible from your customer profile on our website which enables you to request returns and receive returns labels via Royal Mail or Parcelforce.

6. Personalised Website Content and Product Knowledge

Since day 1 we have always photographed our products in house against our iconic DTS back drop. We want you to know that we have physically looked at and tested most products in our store. When we get new products in, we can then write about them from experience. You'll find our product descriptions, blogs and FAQs full of personalised content rather than just cut and pasted from the manufacturer's website.

7. Savant-level dedication to knowing stuff

Want to know if that wheel will fit that axle? Which plate size will fit that boot? Which wide truck is compatible with which plate? Which boot you will fit based on what your current boot is despite the sizing being wackadoodle different? We can tell you because we have spent years worth of our time collating information, creating spreadsheets and compatibility charts.

8. We're Great When We Make Mistakes!

We can't get it right all the time but we reckon the mark of a great business is being able to get it right when we've got it wrong. Rest assured you won't need to get stern with us and start a fight to get a wrong righted. We want to make sure you'e happy so don't worry if you need to tell us we did a boo-boo!

9. We're Inclusive!

We are woman and queer owned. We are big fans of the LGBTQ+ folk, we are trans-inclusive and anti-racist. We support many local community groups and are a welcoming and safe space for those who belong to marginalised communities.

The Antik Jet Carbon was an exciting first.

The new Antik Jet Carbon V2.0 Boot has been updated with fresh new graphics and a back finger loop pull tab. The Jet Carbon V2.0 is back and ready to hit the track. The full carbon outsole offers unparelled response in a feather light package. A lower ankle height increases mobility and Velcro cinch strap helps secure the foot inside the boot.

The Jet Carbon V2.0 is fully heat mouldable for the ultimate customised fit.

We have a couple of shipping options available. Priority Tracked is usually 2-4 business days. Non-Priority Tracked can be between 4-7 business days. We offer FREE non-priority postage for orders over £125.00.

We offer exchanges and returns within 30 days. This is free if the item is faulty. Other returns/exchanges have a small fee. We use Royal Mail Tracked Returns and you can do this through your customer account profile. Unfortunately this is only for our UK customers however we can arrange returns/exchanges for International too however this is entirely at your own cost. These skates gave me new life!!

I had been struggling for a long while now with my old skates and decided I needed to do something about it. The folks at DTS were amazing, I booked in for a fitting and they listened to everything I needed from a skate and helped me try on all of the options available. This boot is incredible! It is the weight that really blew my mind, so light and yet so strong at the same time. The toe box is wide so allows for my feet to sit flat in the skate and my toes don't bunch. I have much better control over my edges now and the strap across the front allows me to loosen or tighten depending on how my feet feel. I feel supported and locked into the boot and far more confident in my overall skate movement.

Great boots - a good fit for my wide feet

I am so happy with these boots so far - they feel comfortable, fit well (I have a size 39 for my wide size 6 feet) and you can do them up really securely which I love. They are super lightweight compared with my previous boots.

Those skates are fantastic!

I had my first chance to try them this weekend (derby training with guests from other leagues) and I'm so so so so happy with them. Comfortable as hell, light, trucks felt super maneuverable, and none of that toes falling asleep and my heels slipping out that I had with my old pair. Toe tip got scuffed from doing powerslides so I'll need to get them some toeguards ASAP, but apart from that so happy, and can't wait for the next scrimmage or bout! Thank you so much to Ronja for her patience while I tried 7 or 8 pairs... definitely recommending the shop to my teammates!

I love them,the boots and plate are so light and comfortable. I can bend and touncg my skates with ease. I can turn to the side more easily because it’s a suede boot. My foot feels supported without feeling to restricted.
I have flat/wide feet and they fit woth no foot pain.
I would definitely recommend these for beginners and intermediate skaters.

Perfect experience

After being let down and disappointed by other alleged roller skating outlets, I came across Double threat skates while travelling through London by train.
I don't live in the UK and I had less than an Hr to spare while waiting for my next train at St Pancras, You cant get any closer to the station, come out the side entrance and DTS are there.
A traditional shop with the most friendly and knowledgable staff.
I am 62 and getting back in to skating again and knew exactly what boots and wheels I wanted, but was worried about the end cost.
The skates I wanted would have to be ordered from the states and I was told that it would be quite a wait, but I felt that I was in good hands and trusted DTS with my order.
I chose my boots from a catalogue, outdoor wheels as an extra, had my feet measured and as I was in a hurry, my order was emailed to me for when I got home.
An easy to use payment system and I was also given a discount code to use and came just over my budget, which tbh was a little low considering what the boots I wanted.
Delivered to me in Guernsey in good time and I absolutely love them, just what I wanted.
I am breaking them in at home, wearing them every day and have been outside a couple of times, its all coming back to me and I’m loving it.
If you need anything to do with skating, please visit these lovely people, you will not be disappointed and if you want to get back in to skating but feel that you are too old, age is just a number and go for it, its a fantastic way to keep fit and have fun.

Lily was incredibly helpful in the shop and helped me choose the various components based on what I thought I wanted. We joked that this would ‘transform my skating’ - well it has (albeit from a low base!). Absolutely love the boot - super quality, comfort etc. The heel is higher than I thought I would want but I love it!
